The AskHRi helpdesk is unique because you can access expert opinions on any commercial or employment matters relating to your business but also any professional matter.

As independent HR and People consultants, or stand-alone HR professionals, we all occasionally need help when faced with complex HR or People issues and welcome a second opinion to sense check our approach in confidence. Or we may have questions around how we’re approaching a new project or running our businesses. Just ask HRi and we will be happy to help.

Our AskHRi helpdesk provides advice from experienced HR professionals, lawyers through our partnership with Freeths LLP, plus a range of other commercial experts including Mazars LLP. Think of us as the expert in your back pocket!


Holiday and Sickness Cover Options

Holiday cover handover – We can provide this via our AskHRi helpdesk. Before you go away we will ask you to complete our handover sheet. You can name the clients that we will be supporting and share any background in confidence which will be stored in our GDPR compliant helpdesk. One named contact point per client. Please give us as much notice as possible.

Sickness cover for your retained clients – If you have purchase AskHRi credits and notify us that you are off sick, we will take over and respond to queries from your clients via our AskHRi helpdesk.



Each credit gives you or your employee/named associate up to 15 minutes of advice from an experienced and senior HR consultant,  lawyer or other commercial expert.

One individual credit can be used to purchase one enquiry the AskHRi helpdesk of up to 15 minutes, with a maximum of 3 credits per query.

Credits are not transferable to anyone else unless they are an employee of your business and named by you at the purchase point. You can transfer unused AskHRi helpdesk credits to the following year but must use them within the first 3 months of that year.

Pricing – £50 plus VAT per credit

    I understand AskHRi will give guidance on any HR or employment issue to my clients. If they require a callback or access to a lawyer this will still be accessed via the AskHRi portal. If active Case management is required then this service is not suitable and we would need to find you hands-on cover.
