About June
Most of June’s career she has been a generalist, but after undertaking coaching she started to run her own offering outplacement support and redundancy advice and she love’s the variety of client’s she get to work with. Starting her own business Wildwood Coaching has been the best decision she has ever made!
How long have you been a member of HRi?
Since 2020 when they first established – although I’ve been a proud supporter of the HRi community since way before that when the idea first came out of a HR facebook group!
Why did you join HRi?
Having recently established my business I was looking for a supportive community and one which would help my business grow. HRi helped me set up my commercial documents and provide guidance on business issues.
What’s your favourite part of being a member of HRi?
I love how accessible and engaged the directors are with their community. They really listen to their members and are responsive to feedback and happy to share their experience. The community is supportive and generous and people are happy to share their time and expertise with others.
What is your specialism?
I specliase in Outplacement Support.
What do you love most about HR? and being independent?
Having enjoyed a generalist career I decided to undertake coach training with a view to running my own business. It was never part of my master plan but was one of the best decisions I ever made! I love the variety of clients I get to work with, the work is really rewarding and I get to do it on my own terms and be creative without having to wait for approval from anyone else!
How do you define success?
Success for me is all about being able to do the work I love and to feel fulfilled. Having balance in my life is crucially important and feeling like I’m learning. I feel I can tick all those boxes.
What is your most memorable win, achievement or celebration?
Every year in business feels like an achievement for me!
What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
I’ve sang in the choir on Songs of Praise and almost met the Queen!
Are you currently binge-watching any shows?
I’m not much of a binge-watcher unfortunately, the last one I watched was Bloodlands.
If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chocolate!
What’s one item you can’t live without?
My fluffy socks at the moment!
