DESCRIPTION:The immigration system is changing to accommodate European nationals following the end of free movement at the end of this year. For most employers\, this visa system will be the only mechanism for recruiting overseas nationals into skilled roles. These new rules will apply from 1 December 2020 for non-EU nationals and from 1 January 2021 for EU nationals arriving in UK for first time. \nEmma Brooksbank from Freeths LLP will be discussing the key features of the new system and the steps employers need to take now to prepare for its introduction. \nThe session will be suitable for HR professionals with some experience of assisting their clients with recruiting under the immigration system and for those who are getting to grips with the immigration system for the first time.
